I Tried Every Method to Fold a Fitted Sheet. Here’s What Actually Worked.

The Myth of the Perfect Fold

You’ve seen the videos. The crisp, geometric folds that look like origami. The influencers who make it look effortless. And you’ve probably tried it—only to end up with a crumpled, elasticated mess.

I get it. I’ve been there. In my role coordinating logistics for a high-volume warehouse (think 200+ linen changes a week), I’ve seen every version of the fitted sheet struggle. And for years, I believed the conventional wisdom: that there was a single, elegant way to fold these things, and I just wasn’t good enough to do it.
